Of Missed Opportunities

How many moments have you missed while thinking of what to shoot or what kind of equipment to use?

Do you really need a high end camera to enjoy shooting? I don't think so. I have shot more photos with my iPhone than with my DSLR, simply because my iPhone is always with me. I still yearn for more equipment of course, but the lack of it would not stop me from enjoying photography.

So if you truly enjoy photography, maybe you can stop finding excuses and just go out and shoot! You never know what you are going to get until you step out to find out. I've always told myself, "Never blame your surroundings for the lack of a subject, blame yourself for not finding one."

This mantra works for me, and I hope it will for you too.

Discovery!

I discovered some old photos taken with my now dead Konica Minolta Dimage Z6 many years back in an old hard disk drive. I love the macro capability of the camera. Just look at these photos!

Sigh, if it's not too expensive to repair, I'd really wanna get someone to clear the fungus inside the lens.
